Quarterly Badsey Society newsletter sent to members. Events: talk by Colonel John Lowles on the Worcestershire Regiment and Computer Training Session which was enjoyed by all. Future events: Day School on Enclosure Records; AGM together with talk by Richard Phillips on his collection of aerial photographs of Badsey and Aldington; End of Closure Project Evening including sight of the first detailed map of parish and the Badsey Flower Show. Report of death of Bill Moore, his wife Doreen (nee Ballard) came from an old Badsey family. Report on recent freak weather conditions and volcanic eruption of Laki in 1783 which caused a deadly fog in Britain and extremes of heat and cold. In 1783/1784/1785 burials increased countrywide and also in Badsey where Knight family lost three members, Hannah, Samuel of Aldington and Ann.
