Badsey Women’s Institute started by Mrs Daphne Bell in 1951 is mentioned in new book “The Women’s Institute” by Susan Cohen. Article on Sands Lane Hovel (a market gardener’s hut and now used by Robert Bindoff) which was tenanted by John Keen and owned by the J P Lord Estate at time of 1913 Land Valuation Survey. Exhibition of documents at Wickhamford Fete including photographs loaned by Simon Lees-Milne, grandson of George Lees-Milne of Wickhamford Manor.
