Newspaper article in two sections with "Evesham Standard, Oct 19th 1901" written on it. Mr A H Savory of Aldington Manor gave a harvest and farewell supper to about 70 guests in his hop-drying room. At the top table were Mr & Mrs Savory, Miss Joyce Savory, the Reverend W H Price, Mr & Mrs J Sladden, Mrs Ashwin, Miss Hildegarde Ashwin, Mr T S Martin and Miss Martin (Twyford House), Mr Howard Savory, Mr J H Macdonald and Mr E J Caudle (Evesham). Presentation made by Mr J H Barrett of Aldington, Mr & Mrs Savory presented with a silver teapot, a silver basin and a silver cream jug, and Miss Savory with two silver candlesticks. The inscription on the teapot was, "Presented to Mr & Mrs A H Savory on leaving Aldington Manor by the parishoners of Badsey, Aldington, and other friends, October 1901". Yearling heifers sold to Mr E P Wilson of Ilmington, Mr Woodyatt, Mr Dudley Smith, Mr Jennings. Heifer calves sold to Mr Woodyatt, Mr T Marshall of Badsey, Mr Dudley Smith, Mr E P Wilson, Mr Sadler of Badsey, Mr Parsons, Mr F Hoddinott of Bowers Hill, Mr E Smith of Childswickham, Mr J Smith of Offenham.
