Monthly parish magazine, price 3d per month. No Vicar’s letter but Badsey notes about the churchyard fund with thanks to collectors, Mrs Ballard, Mrs Crane, Mrs Pethard, Mrs L H Sparrow, Mrs Floyd, Miss Sadler, Miss Allard, Mrs Savory. Badsey reports on Parochial Church Council (Processional Cross made by Mr C J Savory shown at the meeting, to be dedicated at evensong; lectern book markers, dedicated on a previous Sunday, given by Miss Gwen Price, daughter of the late Reverend W H Price; contract with Messrs Nicholson for regular tuning of the organ; suggestion of a screen between the chancel and vestry be erected as a memorial to Canon Allsebrook, with vestry doors in memory of George Moisey); Mothers’ Union; Sanctuary Guild. Wickhamford notes (choir outing organised by Mrs Collett and Mr E Hall; Mothers’ Union outing organised by Mr & Mrs Pearce; compilation of a baptismal roll of children baptised between 1st July 1943 and December 1945; Mrs Spragg and Mrs Figgitt to be church cleaners; report by W B Chapman).
