Description

Letter from Arthur, Bishop of Worcester, to W C Allsebrook sending a formal commission to office as Rural Dean of Evesham; Arthur had only just become Bishop of Worcester, having previously been Bishop of Bradford. The letter is written on the Bishop of Bradford's headed notepaper, with the address crossed out, "Bishop of Bradford" replaced with "Bishop of Worcester" and "Hartlebury Castle, Kidderminster", stamped at the top.
