Historic Environment Record Search - Badsey Parish, 12 December 2013

Description

The Worcestershire Historic Environment Record (HER) is the largest collection of archaeological information in the county with details of over 26,000 sites, buildings, finds and landscapes alongside information on past archaeological research and investigations. These records hold information on a vast and diverse array of archaeological remains, from Iron Age hill-forts to Second World War pillboxes. The HER is held in a database linked to a Geographical Information System (GIS), a computer mapping system designed to allow users to collect, manage and analyze large volumes of spatially referenced data. The HER for Badsey contains: the single line or short report (monument type, date range, grid reference, unique reference number; the full report (the same information as in the short report plus a more detailed description and sources and references); modern maps (note, these are not included in the PDF file as Ordnance Survey maps are subject to copyright); historic maps.
